Adobe says: No box for you!

Adobe announce future Creative Suite apps will be only available via Creative Cloud. No more boxed items or perpetual licenses. You can license Adobe apps monthly or yearly. Lightroom 5 will be excluded. Like Apple’s App Store this seems to be the way of the future for software delivery. More info here: http://www.adobe.com/cc/letter.html

Lightroom 3.4 and Camera Raw 6.4 now available

Tom Hogarty posted that Adobe Lightroom 3.4 and Camera Raw 6.4 are now available as final releases on Adobe.com and through the update mechanisms available in Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom 3. These updates include bug fixes, new camera support and new lens profiles.

Adobe release Creative Suite 5

Adobe have released the Creative Suite CS5. Of most interest is Adobe Camera Raw 6 for much improved image processing that is compatible with (soon to be released) Lightroom 3.
