Lightroom 5 released

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5 is now available for purchase. See my favourite new features here. After user “feedback” (read, “fallout”) Lightroom can be purchased both by subscription and download. Adobe are also hinting at a big Creative Cloud app update for June.

Lightroom 5 Public Beta

Adobe Camera Raw Updates

Adobe have released Adobe Camera Raw 7.2 and Lightroom 4.2 that add more camera and lens support as well general bug fixes. The DNG 1.4 spec has also been updated. Lightroom available in Creative Cloud

Lightroom is now part of Adobe Creative Cloud. If you have Adobe Creative Suite CS or newer, until August 31 2012 you can subscribe for US$29.99 per month.

Lightoom 4 Released

Adobe have released Lightroom 4 that is full of new and improved features. Perhaps the biggest one is the new price: AUS $199 which is half the previous version.

Lightroom 4 beta

Adobe have made Lightroom 4 available as a free public beta. Nothing new for DAM but lots of improvements for image processing. There are more options for local area correction including White Balance and Noise Reduction, basic video editing, and soft proofing.
